Home Owners Association

The Association, led by a Board of Directors, provides an opportunity for all homeowners to be a part of the Community. The Board of Directors is responsible for coordinating several Committees within the Homeowner's Association including the Architectural Control Committee, Recreation, Pool, Publications, Safety and Maintenance. The Board of Directors is also responsible for preparing and reviewing the fiscal budget for the Neighborhood. Southwest Management Services, a professional management company, oversees the day-to-day operations of the Community. One function of the Management Company is to report to the Board any properties that are not in compliance with the current Deed Restrictions.

Community Message Related to the RRISD Boundaries:

The district (RRISD) is in the process of reviewing all the elementary boundaries due to overcrowding of certain campuses as well as due to the opening of new schools in the summer of '08.  District policy FC Local governs how we adjust boundaries.

We also have a Citizen's Boundary Committee comprised of 14 citizen's who are participating in the process and, after staff holds public hearings across the district, this committee will put the finishing touches on what's eventually recommended to the board.

The board will see several scenarios for all parts of the district for the first time at the regular board meeting on Feb 22 and the public is invited to attend this meeting of course.
